To show care and support to other sufferers of all the different kind of Arthritis.
To raise public awareness of the needs of people suffering from all kinds of arthritis.
To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of people in West Fife who are suffering from Arthritic conditions.
To share ideas and methods of coping with everyday tasks that have become difficult.
To invite guest speakers; such as Consultants, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists who inform the group about matters relating to their conditions and as well as speakers of other interesting subjects.
To provide support for carers and family members.
To provide an information centre.
To offer sufferers an opportunity to talk with people in a similar situation and gain possible solutions to problems that they may have encountered during their period of coming to terms with their illness.
It's not all serious though as our speakers give presentations in the first half of the meeting, after this, we enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits, and a good natter. This gives the opportunity to have" Fun" socialising and making new friends!
We give a small donation once a year to help towards bus trips and outings and various expenses.
